This two bedroom, early 20th Century timber clad cottage, set in a private, 30-acre estate of lawns, woods, streams and lakes in the High Weald of Sussex, retains many of its original features, including open fires, cast iron door furniture  and exposed wood walls and floors, without compromising its 21st Century standards of comfort and technology – including complimentary wi-fi connection.

On the estate, you can explore our ancient bluebell woodland or stroll along the banks of our three lakes or just sit and admire the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. We are also within a few minutes drive of some of the most beautiful gardens in England as well as more than half-dozen ancient castles and, of course, some stunning National Trust properties.

Look through our website where you’ll find full details of the cottage and the estate. You’ll also find a full list of things to do and places to visit including Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling and Battle Abbey built by King William on the site of the Battle of Hastings.
